So I suffer from depression and anxiety and even though I'm medicated I still have bad days where I just feel sad and empty and just all around kind of shitty. Often during those times my impulse control becomes quite weak and I try to make myself feel better by buying pretty things. This has lead me to credit card debt (roughly $3000) which my parents paid off to help me avoid paying any interest to credit card company. The only thing is that now I owe that money to my parents, and since I'm still no good at controlling the urge to fill the void with new things, my credit card is already back up to about $700 (which is roughly what I make every 2 weeks, depending on my hours at work). I just moved back home so I don't pay rent so my only other obligation is my phone bill (roughly $90 a month). I'm trying to figure out a plan to pay off my near $4000 in debt while also saving up money little by little for my future. The only thing is I've never been very good with money and I have a hard time saving and not spending so I could really use some advice on the best way to go about this.

TL;DR: I need some tips on how to control my spending in this sort of situation and also on how to go about making some sort of plan pay off my debt while still saving some money.

Thanks in advance!
