I know gas is really cheap now, but I am really frugal like all of you. I feel guilty, but sometimes I pay more for gas because of time. For example, gas near my house is $2.09. If I drive 3 miles up the road, gas is $1.95. The route I take to school and work has more expensive gas stations. So I just fill up near the one where my house is. I don't drive to the gas station that is $1.95 because it is out of the way for me.
So do you all drive to a gas station that is further and out of your way? Or do you all just save time and fill up to the one that is most convenient to you? If a gas station is like 10 cents cheaper, is it really worth driving out of your way to fill up? This is one of those "time is just as valuable as money" situations for me. What do you all think?
Note: Is gas just as cheap where you live? I live in a state where oil is abundant and pretty much our economy :)
