I have a washer outlet box set in the wall. The washer works fine. The problem is there is a copper drain coming down next to the washer drain and because the washer drain hose completely fills the outlet drain, the copper line is flooding the outlet box and the water runs down the wall. The copper line seems to be a condensation drain from the HVAC but it might also be a T&P line from the water heater? The water is cold though so my money is on HVAC.Here is a picture of itYou can see the copper pipe behind the washer drain pipe. How do I fix this? Do I need to somehow create a second drain hole? What coupling would I need to bring both lines together? Or do I need a different outlet box? via /r/DIY http://ift.tt/2tkPfPr
