I had a laptop during college and have a Mac Mini now, but I was thinking today about scaling down to just a tablet with the attachable keyboard. Scale down in size a bit (between the actual computer, the monitor, and the keyboard) and free up some room on my desk. Some stuff is really convenient to do on a normal computer, which I could do on a tablet, but I just wanted to see if any of you guys have experience.
I typically just do casual web browsing (Facebook, Reddit, email, online banking, YouTube, etc), streaming Twitch, Google Docs, and make guitar tabs on text editor. I also emulate N64 games on a Windows N64 emulator, so I'd have to check if a Surface or something is compatible with my N64 controller adapter. It's just USB and Surfaces are Windows, so I would think it'd work.
