Hello there /r/frugal, Usually I would post this in more tech oriented subreddits, but I believe that you will be able to give me more valuable answers.

I'm looking for a laptop that is cheap, but offers me reasonable value and will last a reasonable time. The only requirement really is Windows 10 and that it comes with a screen, a keyboard and have the option of connecting a mouse.

The budget is about $200 and the purpose is to teach an elderly person to use the computer as well as having them use it once they get the hang of it.

Hopefully this will help others who find themselves in the same situation I do. I have already stumbled upon these options:

  • DELL Inspiron 15 3000 This one costs $299 which is above my budget, but I'm keeping it as a last resort if there's nothing better.

  • ACER Aspire E11 This is an 11 inch netbook with a reasonable price of $229. I'm worried about the small screen and low internal storage but it should be ok.

These are my two finds so far, but I'm wondering if maybe you know of a lesser brand or model that would fit my needs. The laptop must be bought in Argentina, no we might not be able to find that brand here but I'd still like to know about it.

Thank you a lot with your help!!
