Hey, so I've run into a bad grocery situation with my new apartment; we only have a small bar fridge in our unit so buying fresh groceries is difficult to justify because of storage purposes. We currently have a few sauces and jams and that is taking up a lot of valuable real estate but are easy ways of making bland staples like toast taste better.

Additionally, we pretty much only have a microwave, toaster oven, and kettle to cook with. Eventually I think our oven and stove will be functioning but for now, that's about it.

What is a good shopping schedule and list to keep that would provide me with a decent variety of meals and snacks for the week, given the constraints?

So far my plan is once a week picking up milk, yogurt, crackers, a bit of cheese and pepperettes for snacks, cereal as needed, and a small bag of shelf-stable fruits like apples or bananas, but this isn't really well balanced or healthy.
