I'm trying to build up a wardrobe with some plain t-shirts of varying colors, v-neck or regular. The problem is a lot of the cheap ones I've tried have no durability. To preface this, I wash cold with easy dry. I keep the t-shirts together for the wash, and don't mix them with towels.
Gildan is junk. Scratchy, boxy, and don't hold up.
Hanes makes a few kinds of varying cuts and fabric, but I've found that they tend to get thin and shrink too much after a few washes.
H&M tend to fit me really well, but they tend to also get thin/shrink after a few washes as well.
Mossimo have become crumbled looking junk. They get super thin, always look wrinkled, and the collars become a mess, folding over themselves and such.
Old Navy is the brand I've had the most success with so far, but I just started buying their stuff. Only 1-2 washes.
Ideally $10 would be the budget, but I'm thinking that might not be realistic at this point. My goal is to buy a variety of colors so I have a diverse looking wardrobe. I'd like to keep it under $20 a t-shirt ideally.
