Hello,

My dad has a small business and he takes card payments using global payments.

Yesterday they called and informed my dad that they had overpaid him by £24,000 over the last 3 weeks, which is almost the exact amount that was in the account.

Except they haven't overpaid him by a penny. The money in the account has accumulated over the last 12 months and is crucial to the business to buy stock.

He has tried calling and explained that they are wrong but they simply said they can't do anything until they have finished investigating.

This is very damaging for the business and my dad is at a loss of what to do.

Any help appreciated.
