So I live in NYC but work in the suburbs. My commuting expenses are extremely expensive and I would like to take them out pre-tax from my paychecks.
Does a system like wageworks cost employers a lot of money? Only myself and 1 other commute by train.
Is it possible to just do this directly with Mta and my job? I am a teacher, trying to save money...
The schools accountants don't really know much, they just said, "we don't do that."
