Most dorm beds are twin XL and somewhat uncomfortable without some kind of mattress topper. A twin XL is 1/2 of a king size. So I bought a king and will cut it in half to make 2 twins (easy to do w/large scissors or box cutter, as these are just foam). He can stack both together if necessary or I will save the other for my daughter who will go to college in 2 years.
Regular price of 2 twins is $160. I had $10 in Kohls cash mailed to me last week (I don't even have their credit card or rewards system). Chose store pickup so no shipping fee. My cost is $32.09 with tax.
