At our new apartment we will be moving to, we will have a pantry!! Before we had very very limited storage space so I didn't do a whole lot of bulk shopping other than meat/produce that could be frozen
Now I'm looking to buy bulk our dry goods - flour, rice, pasta, etc. however, I am unsure how to best store these so they last a reasonable time (only 2 of us in the household)
I know airtight containers are a must, but there are so many types and brands out there. Does the generic Walmart/target brand work and last? Or should I invest in a "better" brand? Or is than alternative to canisters. Really I'm open to anything since this will be our first opportunity to keep a stocked pantry! I'll also be canning a lot of my own produce.
Thank you in advance!
