I will try to only give important details about the situation
- Car loan is in my name only
- Both of our names on title (says AND not OR)
- We broke up(May/June 2016) but ex kept car with understanding ex would have to refinance
- 1 year later it hasn't happened so I ask for car back or for ex to get moving on refinance. Ex decides to give it back
- Meet ex today and the entire rear passenger side is horribly damaged (held on by tape)
- Was told accident happened in November '16. Ex was uninsured at the time
- I asked ex how they intended to pay for the damage which was met with a "Your car your problem" response.
What are my options as far as getting my ex involved in the repair process, if any?
