First, I apologize if this is the wrong place for this.
I was recently notified that my 13 year old daughter had been in the hospital, in another state, a couple of months ago. Only she wasn't, really.
Someone lifted her social security number, enrolled in a state funded health plan, then went to the hospital. There, they racked up several hundred dollars of uncovered medical services. I'm certain that I can get this taken care of, since I can prove that she was 1000 miles away at the time, but who knows what else this person is doing.
What should I do?
