Goal is to own a house in 5 years, currently have 12k invested, gonna invest ~$5500 more by the end of the summer. I want to invest in fixed income, but also don't want to get dicked too badly by an eventual rise in interest rates. Should I buy a bond ETF with a short weighted average maturity?
What was your strategy in the last market crash? How did it play out?
