My husband desperately wanted family pictures at the local picture place. I HATE giving someone money to take my picture and then paying them for that picture. Since its father's day tomorrow, we happily bounded our way to the picture place and were presented with lots of very expensive options. All we wanted was the pictures on a CD so we can print up whatever we wanted whenever we wanted. The CD is $150, so we hemmed and hawed and asked is that the best you can do? The salesperson checked with her manager and said the CD can be sold for $100 with all pictures at high resolution. Knowing we also had an expired $26 groupon, we took it and ran with it. Could I have gotten cheaper? Probably, but that might've ruined my husband's experience.
We resolved to do our own pictures from now on if I can figure out how to make a large white area in my house... help anyone?
