A caller from the IRS called me claiming that I had an arrest warrant for fraud. On the phone he had my name and address. Once I realized it was a scam (typically I stay on long enough to ask them to take me off the caller list) I hung up.
Are there measures I should take right now to prevent identity theft? Am I currently a target of identity theft, or am I overreacting? Any help would be appreciated.
