I am in a really weird spot right now. A few months ago I graduated as a junior(yes diploma) and it seems to be having negative affects in my life. I picked up a part time job because I had nothing better to do and figured I'd start putting money back for while I'm in college and to pay car insurance. Well I, like many Americans, have ebt food stamps. Because I was making money from a job my family has to report it to my public aid so that they can adjust our ebt amount. Now to give some context my mom doesn't have a job. She got severely injured during work a few years ago and is in the process of getting disability. So apparently because I graduated, have a job, am the only source of "income" in my house, and plan to go to college I am considered an adult who is a primary income. Which leads to the main problem. I planned on dropping down to a very small amount of hours during college or potentially even quiting but I found out today if I quit we lose all of our ebt benefits which my family needs. I also can't drop below 20 hours. So all in all idk what to do.

TL;DR 16, Primary/only income, can't quit job in fear of losing ebt benefits for family.
