Hey there! I'm designing a wall-to-wall 'floating' glass desk for my new room, and I'm trying to give it as little visible support as possible so it all looks super clean. What I've designed is three support rails along the sides and far edge - you can see this here: http://ift.tt/2pGJiGB'm going to use 95mm thick timber along these edges, and the glass is 12mm thick tempered glass - it'll be 2 metres by 0.725 metres, as per the draft. Will the rear support, along with the side supports, be enough to keep this thing safe? I won't be putting any monitor weight on it - those will be mounted to the walls. (I'm also routing a groove into the rear timber for cable management)Thankyou for any help you can give! via /r/DIY http://ift.tt/2qbALz4
