So I started selling these fidget spinner things during my time off of my 40hr a week job.
A few small notes:

I am on workers compensation leave from work due to a psych injury. My expected date is unknown and I am being paid during my time away. Is this fidget spinner thing going to interfere with my work place? Will I get in trouble if my work finds out?

I am making roughly $1,400 a week and I only expected to keep this going for roughly another month for a total of an estimated $6,000 total in sales. Are there taxes that I have to think about for this? It's buying online and selling from home, not an office or a small shop, just from home.
