both have warranty. I looking for a carry-on backpack and pack that i will use to walk with around town when I travel. will carry the usual, snacks, phone battery, gifts i buy, maybe a hoodie etc

timbuk2 is 25 L while North Face is 30 L. 30 L might be really big for what I want but then again I dont plan on buying any other pack till it goes out so I may use the size sometime in the future?
I take care of my stuff the last pack I had was a Nike one I used it during school and only threw it away like a year ago because the straps broke from the body...had it maybe 10-11 years?..god im old
Edit: i think the price and esthetics is what holding me back on the two both seem great packs
