I have ~$200 in Staples gift cards that I have to burn, and I'm considering finally getting a printer. Obviously, none of them are truly buy it for life, but Brother sounds the most reliable. With the bonus that their ink cartridges are easy to refill, rather than buy new ones. What's your experience with inkjet vs laser -- is one cheaper to refill than the other? I'm guessing things get more complicated when I consider bw vs color, since color laser printers is WAY more expensive than bw. 95% of the printing would be bw, but it would be nice to have the ability for color. Open to buying one of their refurbished models, as well.
