When my eldest was a baby and toddler I knew what brands of toys to go to that are durable, sustainable, and mostly plastic-free. Now that he's coming on 6 and asking for various RC vehicles, I'm at a loss of where to look and what to buy! Any recommendations? I know they are not BIFL, but I'd like it if his two younger sisters can at least play with whatever I find when they are older.

I'd like to spend under $100, preferably under $50. I've done a bit of searching and came across Morphibianz (or whatever they're called) with mixed reviews. I wish Bruder made a line of RC vehicles. Ideally I'd like something non-plastic, but I know that's practically impossible.

Any recommendations for other toy brands for kids 6 and up would be much appreciated! They already play with my old Lego and Playmobile. When they were little I bought lots of Plan Toys and Hape in case anyone is interested.
