Long time lurker - first post.
Recently, my wife and I found out our son has a genetic disorder that will rob him of his life in about two decades (he will be two at the end of May). This has completely rocked our foundation. Lets just say we weren't prepared for the outcome to be as terrible as it is.
Basically, I want to be as prepared as we possibly can be when the time comes so that we do not have to worry about money, planning, etc.
I am seeking advice for this as I don't even know where to begin. Is life insurance an option? Do I put money away in a savings account? What are the best options when it comes to this type of situation - knowing the inevitable outcome?
Any help would be greatly appreciated - as I just can't wrap my head around anything right now.
