Hi /r/frugal

I'm curious on your thoughts on pet wellness plans, specifically the Banfield wellness plans at PetSmart.

We originally had the puppy plan when we first picked up our pup, this covered his neutering and the first series of shots puppys need during their first year. I don't recall if it fully covered everything but it saved us some money supposedly.

Fastforward to now, we're paying for the adult wellness plans which costs $25/m. Which still has a limited number of visits and testing and saves a little on immunization shots apparently. Seeing as he's grown and doesn't need his shots as often, is this plan worth it? We don't typically take him in for anything other than immunizations anyways. I'm curious as to who else has or had this or a similar plan and your thoughts on keeping it?

Edit: Rip title mobile strikes yet again.
