So, I recently removed my old window AC and closed it with a wooden board. I want to turn it into a secret compartment with a picture frame covering over it and sliding up either manually (slide up by hand until it locks up, then slide up again for it to lower slowly) or electronically (perhaps by smartphone, fingerprint, or inputing digital number code). If electronically, I don't mind using a raspberry pi, as I currently own one. I want the hinges to be on the inside.I don't know where to start, and what I would be needing exactly for each scenario. I'd appreciate any help I could get.
