I'm not sure if I'm posting this in the right place, But I started a new minimum wage job recently that says my training hours can be up to 40 hours and I will get paid 50 dollars for them or basically a 1.25... I thought this would maybe make sense if I was actually shadowing someone and not really working but I'm working the same amount and I've even worked shifts where I'm the 2nd person working (only two people working at a time) instead of being the 3rd or the trainee. Also we aren't even allowed to get the tips we make (it's a tea place) because it could go over our wage limit or something weird even though I'm making minimum wage and I doubt the tips would ever add up to that much?
I live in the state of FL, by the way.
