I found out Friday night. He'd been hiding it from me. I forced him to show me all of the balances. He had three cards maxed out and one close to it. I've already taken and hidden all the cards.
I've always been the saver in our relationship and I knew he had issues with self-control, but this is beyond what I can budget for. We have a combined income of $58K per year. We both work full time and I'm a full time accounting student. I have $10000 in savings from an insurance payout but I was wanting to use it to buy a house and to help with school.
My credit score is 620 and his was 730 back in December, but it's dropped due to credit utilization to 680.
Now what I'm wondering is how do we pay all of the cards off?
