I am building a patio on an area that has about 8 inches of slope over about 12 feet. I want to make the patio level (or close) and use a sloped concrete "ramp" as opposed to a step. Since the vertical will change I was considering using one slope with varying run to account for varying rise. What is the maximum slope I can use with concrete? 3:1? 2:1?
