Sorry if this is the wrong sub for this.

So my situation is, I'm 30, single, no dependents. I work in pharmacy, and I don't make a ton of money (take home is roughly $27,000 annually after taxes and insurance). I have a mortgage (still owe about $125,000, but I over pay on my payments) and an auto loan at about $10,000 (again, I over pay each month). I really want a more lucrative career, and I know going back to school is the only way I'll reach that goal. I've been looking for grants and scholarships, but before I waste a ton of time and effort, will I be rejected any help, because I "make too much money" or because I don't have any dependents? I guess taking out loans wouldn't be the end of the world, but I'm hoping there is a way to bypass that or receive at least a little help. I want to continue on in healthcare, if that makes a difference. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
