Hi all,
I just recently moved into a house with a friend who is cutting me an amazing deal - rent for only $250/mo and pay for half the utility bills. Roommate estimates that all bills will be around $100-$200 or so when in half as we don't put the A/C on, unplug everything, and turn all the lights off as much as possible. This is my first time paying for bills of any sort since I've been trying to avoid them for as long as possible. I only make about $600 a month right now, as my job won't give me anymore hours.
With rent, food, utilities, etc, is it feasible to still pump a reasonable amount into my savings? If not, would getting a second job for the summer be advisable?
This is my first time posting to this sub, so hope this discussion is okay. Thank you!
