Two of my ETFs split today, 2 for 1. This is my first stock split. Over the weekend my brokerage account doubled my shares but kept their value so it looked like I had gained 30 percent. So today, premarket I checked my account again and it has the correct, halved price for them and it shows that I'm down 30 percent.....hilarious....what a wild ride!
