I just won $250k on FOX's "Kicking and Screaming" and finally deposited the check just yesterday. I have some time before it clears, and u know I need to hire a CPA but what else should I do or need to look out for? My plan is to donate a large portion to St Jude Children's Research Hospital, invest some, and that's pretty much it.
I'm open to advice, please enlighten me of the stuff I need to know that isn't common knowledge!
