I'm 19 years old and I had to drop out due to an undisclosed illness. I was sent a letter with over $3,000 in fees. It has since went down to over $1,000(I guess my parents payed some of it off some how; they don't talk to about financial stuff with me). Is there any way I can help them pay the rest? I've been applying to jobs, but my dad is fixing up my car so I don't exactly have reliable transportation. I'm becoming more and more depressed about my situation, sitting at home doing nothing (yes, I know I should go outside more, but depression is a bitch). All of my friends are still at university and they are about to be juniors in August, while I'm here not even completing my second semester of freshman year with failing grades the first semester and half of second due missing class A LOT, so I definitely didn't pass and I might have to start over. I feel like I'm having an early mid-life crisis. :(
