I'm 24 YO graduate, no work as I just got fired from somewhere over a holiday I booked at the start of the job (they said they would let me have it off and then didn't tell me any different when I went away - Literally; "Have fun! See you soon! Enjoy it!" to; "Why were you not in work for a week? What holiday?") making things much harder to find anything.
I was living with my Dad and his girlfriend at her place but she just broke up with him and kicked him and me out. Im currently staying with a relative temporarily until I can find somewhere else, but the only work I have coming in is festival work which is sporadic and a bit casual. I know it will be a real push to cover the costs of living at best.
I now realise that I don't really have anywhere to live properly, and panicking about what I should do next with about -£900 in my bank account and an overdraft of £1250 that ends this summer and needs to be paid off.
I've thought about applying to agencies but I need something to fit in around the festival work too so Im not sure if they would be so flexible.
Ideally I need to cover my overdraft/pay it off and start saving but with all of the festival season coming up, but there are a few costs for living and bits that I'll struggle to cover and save at the same time for. (Petrol gets paid for but food, drinks, showers [yes showers for crew and traders aren't always free] things like that I'm concerned will add up again and defeat the object of it all.
Any advise would be greatly appreciated. I'm really not sure what I should do at this moment in time.
