I've tried putting up the fixings for a curtain rail which is above the patio doors to our garden in our new build house. It seems the wall is plasterboard, I've tried using the standard fixings that came with the curtain rail, as well as longer screws, and even those self drilling plastic screws for plasterboard walls.It seems nothing I've tried will keep them in place. They were coming loose for a while and now our puppy has jumped at the chance and pulled them off, leaving a hole for the middle fixing 3x the size, as well as plaster coming off.Should I just use pollyfiller to fill the plaster holes and then move it to the left/right and use extra long screws, or can you recommend any specialist fixings? via /r/DIY http://ift.tt/2qHb47J
