Lately i've been thinking about how much we spend on corporations that just go into CEOs pockets and don't help us at all as consumers. How much of my paychecks just go back to the company I work for.
Has anybody else just kind of stopped wanting to support these companies? I figured for now I could get buy just buying gas, groceries, the occasional new work clothes and basic living supplies (cleaning supplies etc) and be just fine. But where do you put the line? Do you buy things secondhand, at thrift stores or otherwise? Or nothing at all? What about services? Netflix? Hulu? (I'm actually cancelling the latter) I still enjoy my ArtSnacks and Sephora Play! Subscription boxes but could do without both and probably don't need the second one at all considering I work at Ulta, but I really enjoy it and having that subscription really cuts down on my makeup spending especially since i'm surrounded by it every day.
