Hopefully this is the right sub. My flight out of Albuquerque was delayed this afternoon so much that I will miss my connecting flight to Atlanta tonight. The delay was due to maintenance. Per American Airlines there are no other options to Atlanta tonight and I will have to spend the night in Dallas. What are my rights in this situation? I paid way too much for this flight as is because it was last minute for an interview. I believe I'm entitled to a hotel and meals but am I also entitled to airline voucher? How much? Can I redeem it for cash? Thanks in advance for the help! Edit- Sorry about the spelling error. I am in line at American Airlines and thoroughly upset right now.
