Hi,
I am a 25 year-old and have managed to save, with the help of my family, over EUR 17k. I intend on using part of it to start my investment portfolio.
In the future I would like to have multiple investments, spanning from safer to more riskier financial products.
I am interested in starting a safer strategy now with about EUR 10k and holding on to it for several years.
I am looking for something that lets me (1) use compound interest and (2) increment my initial investment with my monthly savings (EUR 500).
Do you know what are the financial products that fulfill the criteria above? If not both, then at least the first one?
I have been reading about investing online and was recommended ETFs, Mutual Funds or CDs, since I am young and don't have a lot of financial experience (yet!).
A lot of people on other websites talked to me about 401(k) plans, but I think that's not a viable option, since I currently reside in Portugal.
Thank you for reading this far!
