Hi,A few years ago I bought a house that was built in 1955. The fuse box is updated and has 10 empty slots, but if I try to run too many things at once (can't have the dishwasher and the AC unit run at the same time, or the washer and dryer, the AC unit in my bedroom has to be plugged into another bedroom) or the circuit breaker blows. Is it silly to think that the new fuse box means the electrical was updated from the original 1955 wiring? It seems like these issues are indicating that if the electrical was updated, it was half assed, but I don't know anything about this stuff.Thank you!! via /r/DIY http://ift.tt/2pWJG51
