I'm an 18 y/o student in Ohio that is commuting to college starting in the fall. I'm working a landscaping job through the summer hoping to make enough to not have to work through school for most of the year so I can focus on my grades. I'll be commuting 120 miles/day, and I hope I can fit my classes into 3 days a week. I mainly just need to save whatever money I can on gas for such a long commute.

I'll be driving a 2009 Camry, so looking at about 25 miles/gal and gas has hovered around $2.00-$2.10 in my area for awhile now. I'll probably be looking at around $150 a month worth of gas alone, plus whatever expenses come from the miles I'll be putting on the car.

I've looked around through different credit card companies trying to see what type of cash back help, plus there's all the usual things like keeping gas in your tires and your car in good shape. Is there anything else I can do to try and save money? And could anyone recommend the better credit cards here? I have no credit, I'm not looking for anything with a huge limit just something with some cashback on gas to save a bit of money.

Thanks :)
