I've been sitting in a Steelcase Leap for over a year and bought my own for my own office since January of this year. I'm 225lbs, 5'10'', and recently the past two weeks my coccyx/tailbone has been really sore after sitting in it for a day. The pain goes away if I either sit on my really cushiony couch or otherwise put no pressure on it. It's been getting to the point where I can't go for more than a few hours without having to get up and walk around. After an 8 hour day it is really sore and then I really dislike coming home to the same computer chair as my office.
I'm not sure what has changed or how I can better change my posture. I've lost 45 lbs over the past year, I used to be 275 lbs since I started using a leap. I'm down to 225lbs. My only thought at the moment is maybe I've lost a lot of significant padding on my butt, haha.
Does anyone have any ideas on how I can adjust the leap to prevent tailbone pain? Internet searches haven't been too useful other than don't put pressure on it. Thanks!
