My friends mother has been very independent until recently because of her stomach cancer diagnosis. Since then, she been very depressed and has stopped doing much. My friend has picked up the ball and has been making sure her bills like utility, insurance, credit cards, etc. are paid. Unfortunately, it just occurred to him that her 2016 taxes have not been filed. How can he find out for sure? And if it hasn't been paid, how can he file for his mother?
