I just moved to an apartment and am looking for ways to clean the carpet myself because calling a professional regularly would be too expensive.
From what I found on Amazon, a cheap vacuum cleaner (e.g. Dirt Devil) is not enough for carpet cleaning. So I'm thinking of getting a Bissell PowerLifter Cleaner 1622 around $85 and do the work myself once every 2-3 weeks.
I'm wondering if there's a more frugal way to do this?
