hello! so this is my first year of college and i'm trying to save money in order to visit my bf this year.
I live really close to home so i get to go every weekend and i don't have a car yet but my family pays my bus ticket so that's not a problem and since i go there every week mom sometimes sends me food she made that weekend.
I usually go to the grocery store every week and buy mostly stuff i can eat for dinner/breakfast such as oatmeal, milk, eggs (sometimes), some snacks like cookies, cereal bars etc and fruit. I usually spend 1/4 of my weekly money at the grocery store. What are your best tips for saving money in college?
