I talked to an advisor at my community college today and he told me that they have a large amount of certificate programs that require no base classes (like math and writing) and don't have any requirements to get into them. These sound very appealing to me because he said typically they're only a couple semesters. Are they actually worth doing? Obviously this is objective to what certificate you pursue, so if any of you out there have went to college for a certificate(s) rather than a degree, let me know how your situation is going. Thanks.
