I am trying to save money on lunch everyday. My job requires me to travel to various locations around the state (often with little notice) and lunch is sometimes provided and sometimes not (I usually don't know until lunch time). I have tried packing my lunch but due to the inconsistency I usually end up wasting food that spoils before I can pack it or resort to just buying lunch on the road. Any ideas for lunches that have a long shelf life and won't go bad if not eaten after packed would be greatly appreciated.
