Hi all. I'm 30, no debt, not married, no kids. I make about $125k a year. Currently, I have a 401k, Roth IRA, non-retirement mutual fund, Traditional IRA and purchase stock through my company. Also have about $40k sitting in my savings/checking. ($25k of this is a 1 yr emergency fund) I feel like I could be putting my money to work better than I currently do, but I'm not sure what else I should be doing. I do understand that purchasing a home (I currently rent) would be a great investment and would help lower my taxable income, but, while I hate to admit this, the thought of taking on home ownership on my own as a single person feels pretty intimidating to me. What would you recommend? Thanks!
