Hey guys - very new on here. I've actually been reading a ton of investing tips on here and it has helped me lots regarding 401k/Roth IRA the past 8 months. I really appreciate it too!

As stated in title, my Roth IRA and my 401k are in the Target Fund for Vanguard. I've already maxed out my Roth IRA for 2017. My 401k WILL be maxed by end of June 2017.

My Vanguard taxable account is a kind of a "just for fun" kind of thing for now {again, I'm new at the investing thing}. So far, it has the etfs: Total Stock, Total Bond, Total International Stock, Total International Bond.. which equates to around ~1,200k. Oh, and I have like 2 REIT etfs.

My goal is to get Admiral status for the first 4 etfs I mentioned in maybe ~5 (?) years. I do know the target funds DO have the same 4 etfs I have.... is this smart? Am I chasing the wrong funds for my taxable account? Or my 401k/Roth IRA?

I'm 27, bought a condo back in Jan 2016 {I didn't start investing till Feb 2016 since I wanted to be a homeowner early in life}. I've maxed out my 401k/Roth IRA since buying my condo.

Thank you so much!
