It's a short book, based on some scrolls or ledger an archaeologist found about someone paying off their debts 2 or 3 thousand years ago? The guy in the book asks his master for advice (not money) then he's sent away to make money in a city and comes back with nothing, he saves 10% every year... is this ringing any bells?
