Hey r/frugal, not sure if this is the right sub for this but I feel it fits. Anyways without going into too much detail I'm a 24 year old male that lives on my own and make $40,000 a year CAD. My extended family doesn't really speak to each other so I'm usually invited over to various relatives' houses for dinner and it gets kind of expensive buying a gift to ring to every singles persons house each time I visit (a bottle of wine, some dessert, you know the usual suspects). Does anyone have any suggestions of some cheaper ideas to bring when I visit?
